Which Atlas Models This Applies To

Atlas produces several cabinet lines, and the parts are not interchangeable across series. The Atlas Classic Series uses 22-inch full-extension ball-bearing slides with a 100-pound load rating, while the Atlas Pro Series upgraded to 24-inch heavy-duty slides rated for 150 pounds in 2019. If your cabinets were installed between 2015 and 2018, you likely have the Classic hardware with the smaller mounting bracket pattern, 2.75 inches on center. The Pro Series bracket moved to 3.0 inches, which means a slide labeled for one will not bolt to the other without cabinet modification.

The soft-close hinge is where we see the most compatibility confusion. Atlas sourced hinges from two OEM suppliers during the 2017-2021 period: Grass and Hettich. The Grass version uses a 35mm cup with a 110-degree opening angle; the Hettich uses the same cup diameter but a 107-degree angle and a different mounting plate tab pattern. The part numbers wear off in Miami’s humidity. We identify them by the tab geometry: Grass has a single rectangular tab, Hettich has a split-tab with a center relief cut. We carry both on the truck, plus the aftermarket Salice equivalent that fits either cup but requires a different mounting plate.
